FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MINNEAPOLIS—ECMC Group, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit focused on helping students succeed, today announced the winner of the Sue and Chip McSherry Scholarship, which provides funding for students at Totino-Grace High School who are pursuing career and technical education programs after high school graduation.

This year’s recipient is Katherine Reinke who received a $2,500 scholarship. Reinke plans to attend Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minn.

The Sue and Chip McSherry Scholarship was developed by ECMC Group in memory of Sue McSherry, a long-time employee of the organization. Her husband, Chip, continues to support ECMC Group’s mission of helping students succeed from his leadership role with the company. Funding for the scholarship was made possible by ECMC Foundation.

The McSherrys are lifelong supporters of Totino-Grace and believe every student should have the opportunity to pursue education beyond high school.

“ECMC Group is a strong advocate for student success and the McSherrys are strong supporters of this mission as well,” said Dan Fisher, president and CEO of ECMC Group. “We’ve seen many success stories come from those who have received this scholarship and are proud to continue the tradition annually since 2020.”
