Junior Achievement North Names Christine Noël to Board of Directors
April 5, 2024
MINNEAPOLIS— Christine Noël, director of government affairs for ECMC Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of Junior Achievement North (JA North). Effective immediately, the position will allow Noël to help shape JA North’s programs that support financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship education for K-12 students in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin.
“ECMC Group and Junior Achievement have been partners for years, and bringing Christine into the fold will enable both of our organizations to more fully live out our shared missions of helping students succeed,” said Sara Dziuk, president and CEO of JA North. “We look forward to her contributions as we prepare our youth to be financially literate and workforce ready.”
JA North’s programs are designed to empower students to make connections between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world. When learning comes to life through JA North’s programming, students see how education can open the door to a bright future full of boundless opportunities.
“As an organization that works every day to help students understand the financial connection between education and their futures, ECMC Group is an ideal partner for JA North,” said Noël. “I look forward to shaping solutions that work for students in our Midwest communities.”
ECMC Group has partnered with JA North since 2017, investing funds and employee volunteer time at JA Finance Park, JA BizTown and JA-in-a-Day—all aimed at educating K-12 students on financial literacy.
