Wendy Badger, who works as vice president, corporate compliance and chief compliance officer at ECMC in Minneapolis, was recently named co-chair of the Women in Compliance Affinity Group of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL.)
The mission of NAWL is to provide leadership, a collective voice and essential resources to advance women in the legal profession and advocate for the equality of women under the law. Since 1899, NAWL has been empowering women in the legal profession, cultivating a diverse membership dedicated to equality, mutual support, and collective success.
The purpose of the NAWL Women in Compliance Practice Area Affinity Group is to connect and serve as a resource for women who currently practice, or are interested in practicing in this area, either in-house or in private practice.
As co-chair of the group, Badger will help host programs to connect members, garner new membership and stay abreast of compliance trends.
