Zenith Education Group Appoints Joni Kurland Vice President of Accreditation, Licensing and Campus Compliance

Minneapolis, May 29, 2019 – Zenith Education Group, a nonprofit provider of career and technical education, has announced the appointment of Joni Kurland as vice president of accreditation, licensing and campus compliance. In this role, she will lead those functions for Zenith Education Group and its nonprofit Altierus Career Colleges.

"Given her previous tenure in the higher education space, Joni brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experience to the role," said Tom O'Donnell, senior vice president of operations for Zenith. "We look forward to leveraging Joni's expertise as we look to enhance our program offerings."

After more than 15 years working with postsecondary education organizations, Kurland brings valuable insight in policy, regulatory affairs and compliance.

"Zenith Education Group has a strong commitment to operating its educational programs with integrity in full compliance with regulatory guidelines," said Kurland. "In my role, I look forward to helping Zenith uphold that commitment and promoting universal confidence in the schools and their educational offerings."

Prior to joining Zenith, Kurland held various leadership roles in compliance and educational administration. She holds a bachelor's degree in child psychology and a master's degree in educational policy in administration with an emphasis in higher education from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities.
