ECMC Opens College Access Center in Denver

The College Place, located at University of Colorado Denver, provides free resources to help students plan for college

DENVER, Colo. – April 5, 2018 – Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) has opened a new college access center to help students of all ages prepare for college.

The College Place-Colorado (TCP-Colorado), located at University of Colorado Denver, provides free information and assistance for students throughout the state. Through in-person, telephone and online support, the center helps students of all ages complete applications and financial aid forms, as well as locate scholarships that can decrease college costs. Staff is also available to visit schools and conduct workshops.

"The College Place is an invaluable resource for students planning and preparing for college," said Chevy Lowe, director of TCP-Colorado. "I am honored to have the opportunity to work with all students and help them find the path that aligns with their goals and aspirations."

Ms. Lowe has been active in the higher education field for more than seven years. Her work has focused on serving and counseling students, with a focus on underserved student access.
