James V. McKeon

James V. McKeon is an accomplished senior executive with a diverse professional background spanning more than 30 years. He has served as a senior executive officer at a large publicly traded healthcare company, co-founded and monetized several entrepreneurial ventures, and currently holds board and committee positions in various public and nonprofit enterprises. Additionally, Mr. McKeon provides strategic advice to business owners, senior managers and entrepreneurs.
As the managing partner of Valentine Associates LLC, a Pennsylvania-based advisory practice, Mr. McKeon specializes in strategic planning, finance, performance improvement and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career, he has successfully grown multiple businesses by enhancing infrastructure, aligning stakeholder interests and ensuring accountable execution while maintaining fiduciary responsibility.
In his advisory capacity, Mr. McKeon has guided numerous businesses in achieving their goals, including capital raising, strategy development, recapitalization and monetization.
Mr. McKeon serves as the chair of the Board of Directors at ECMC Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to student success. At ECMC Group, he chairs the Investment Committee and the Governance and Compensation Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. Previously, he served on the board of directors of Genesis HealthCare LLC (NYSE: GEN), where he chaired the Nominating, Corporate Governance, Quality and Compliance Committee and was a member of the Governance and Compensation Committee. Mr. McKeon also serves on the boards of several privately held organizations and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
As a first-generation college graduate, Mr. McKeon is a strong advocate for education and its transformative potential. He has been actively involved in advocacy causes, including serving on the board of directors of The Tug McGraw Foundation, which focuses on improving the quality of life for brain tumor patients and their families. He also served on the Finance Committee of Bancroft, a nonprofit organization assisting children and young adults with developmental challenges.
Mr. McKeon holds a B.S. in accountancy from Villanova University.
